Tasks in your Calendar
Submitted by Daniel Lensing by Office on 28 February 2008
Due to a request, I have dealt with the issue of whether there is a way of set tasks in Outlook can be directly as the date in Calendar.
Enough for me personally, if I today's tasks, get the bottom of my calendar, as required by the manufacturer Microsoft, because you either do a task by a certain date, and thus with under the calendar or with a standard expression with is displayed or I have an appointment, I can track the well.
Of course, other people have already been thinking about, and a fee-based add- generated that synchronizes this "synchronization" between the "field" tasks, and calendar. For the preparation of this article does this tool do not quite 30 €.
UPDATE:
The tool is also Office 2007 and Windows Vista capable.

Exactly one month ago, I sat at the same time on a train and made me think about my upcoming Vista Exam 70-620.
Meanwhile, time has passed for one month. However, I'm still not quite as excited as ever. There is also the difference that I have regained a sense of the test events and got a little routine in the "learning business".
I've beaten back several times nights and weekends around the ears and me with UAC group policies, network problems, and Windows Deployment busy. Here I found interesting things that can certainly be in everyday life as IT support can be very useful.
I'm curious how the test runs. Hopefully at the end "Passed" on the monitor, but I know in about 2 1 / 2 hours.

"Default username" on Vista
Submitted by Daniel Lensing under Windows Vista 22 February 2008
Because of reading the variables for a tool I noticed that the query does the user no longer has the well-known feature of the "default username" on Windows Vista.
The new path to a similar extent would now have to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \
Authentication \ LogonUI
As the flag is then "LastLoggedOnUser" and evaluated in accordance with the value "DOMAIN \ USERNAME" played.
Funny search with Live Search - Create Hash Rule
Submitted by Daniel Lensing under Windows Vista 21 February 2008
As I am currently a little busy with group policies, I came across the term "hash" rule. Since I unfortunately did not quite behind it, what causes this, I typed the following into my address bar:
Hash rule
Since I was working on a virtual system in which I had not yet set a search provider other than standard, I got the results from Microsoft live search. The first entry in the search results list was from Microsoft TechNet.
What I had to find, unfortunately, that I was in the Dutch Technet had landed.
As we proceed from "Hash Rule" can include a link directly to Holland, is not nearly comprehensible ![]()
Incidentally, for all who are interested:
With a hash rule allows files (eg calc.exe) start at the open or be prevented, there no matter what directory they are.
This is deeper than simply engaging running from a directory block, because after copying it to another folder, running can be possible again.

Launch of the "scheduled tasks" in Vista
Submitted by Daniel Lensing under Windows Vista , 20 February 2008
Since I like to use automation I am running Windows XP was just used to it that I marked "Start" - had "run" simple statement "tasks" (for tasks.exe) entered and got my control program for the scheduled tasks.
Well today I wanted my XP-compatible tasks vista try to adapt. The scripting was not a problem because I work with variables and easily between different systems according to "jump" can.
The call of the task environment was unfortunately not quite so simple. The program that controls the task has been given a new name and a new command:
Name: Task Scheduler
Command: taskschd.msc
About the search bar in the Start menu can now hold either the name or full command for the management console can be entered and you come to similar target.
